Quality

Agree the equipment, parameters, service scope and required records before work begins.

Calibration is performed to a documented procedure, using reference standards whose calibration is traceable to the International System of Units (SI) through national metrology institutes or accredited calibration laboratories.

Calibration documentation identifies the equipment and work performed and reports the results, reference information, and measurement uncertainty and coverage information applicable to that work.

Where you ask for a pass/fail statement, we agree the decision rule with you before the work begins and state it on the documentation for that work.

Calibration certificates are distinct from maintenance records, installation records, monitoring reports and validation reports. The record type is agreed with the scope of work.
